#9 of 30: Inspiration comes from many places

Sometimes a beautiful scene will provide an “aha!” moment. Other times, you’ll be moved by music. Or, it could be something you read, see on TV or on the internet, or just a conversation with someone else. Regardless of the source of the inspiration, the important thing is that you act on the idea.

Got a great idea for a new photograph? Grab your camera and get out there and take it. Did a poem pop into your head? Write it down. Want to draw? Do it! Write a book? Grab a pen and paper. Whatever it is – just do it.

You don’t have to be Einstein or Michaelangelo and you don’t even have to share the product of your inspiration with anyone. Just let yourself enjoy the moment and the process and then congratulate yourself for doing it. Period.
