It is much too easy to always look back at what has happened in the past. Hindsight is 20-20 and I have no doubt that, like the main character in “Being Erica”, many of us would like to have a few “do-overs” in our lives.
But, reality is that we don’t get “do-overs” so, instead of dwelling on the past, what might have been, how things may have been different “if only” we had made other choices, why not enjoy the present? Why not take pleasure and satisfaction in what is good about your life today and perhaps look forward to what will be great about tomorrow or the next day?
Life is short. It is much too short to waste precious moments on regrets and futile “what ifs?”.
